The ES Business Headquarters of Hankook & Company is a core battery division under the group’s holding company, Hankook & Company.

The ES Business Headquarters, which began its battery manufacturing business in 1944, has the longest heritage in South Korea’s battery industry as the country’s first battery company. After becoming an affiliate of Hankook Tire Group in 1977, the company has been recognized for the high quality and technological expertise of its high-performance batteries, building long-term partnerships with customers around the world.

Following the transition of Hankook & Company into an operating holding company in 2021, it has now established itself as Hankook & Company ES Business Headquarters.
